Gorilla Pressure Washing: Our Methods
Keeping your home, or business sparkling clean is an important part of the Gorilla Property Services portfolio. Pressure washing is definitely our most commonly provided service. Prior to starting any project, the Gorillas treat the surfaces with a disinfectant and algae remover. This slowly removes the layer of filth that develops over time. Next step is the “Gorilla Brushes”, which are used with good old fashioned elbow grease. These remove the gunk and build-up of debris that collects on the surface. Then the real work begins!
Benefits and Applications of Pressure Washing Services
Ridding your commercial property of algae, black discoloration and other stains can be extremely difficult. Commercial pressure washing is one of the most common applications of exterior surface cleaning. Everyday wear and tear can show itself all over your property. Exterior surfaces such as vinyl, stucco; wood or concrete decks, patios, railings, walkways, paving stones or driveways, show the most damage.
Gorillas are specialists in making old look new again. Every inch of a surface needs to be cleaned, for that same sparkle overall. Using our disinfectant/cleaning agent, followed by our soft brush scrubbing leaves any surface brand new again.
New Masonry or Efflorescence?
Cleaning new masonry is one of our specialties! Does your building have a “Chalky White” substance on the surface? This would be efflorescence. Efflorescence is when water carries salts to the surface of the brick, then evaporates, leaving this chalky white substance behind. Simply wetting and wiping the brick and masonry won’t give it that new material look. It certainly won’t remove the efflorescence properly. Our Gorilla techs use a cleansing agent that actually “foams” up on the surface, eating away that chalky white substance. Gorillas clean in sections, allowing for an overall clean.
Horizontal Surfaces
Cleaning horizontal surfaces is an important part of property maintenance. Cleaning walkways, sidewalks, parking areas and entry ways can make an area look well cared for. This, in turn, makes the business more inviting. It really is that simple. “If they take care of the outside, they must take care of the inside”. This a common thought and an important issue for restaurants, for example. Disinfectant cleaning agents follow floor scrubbers and pressure washing brushes. Then we finish off with a nice pressure washing, using our seamless wand system. These steps makes old, black, treaded areas look brand new again.
