"Review update: I received an email from James Vogan on July 20 2022 that said himself and the franchise owner had reviewed our situation and that they had agreed to make it right. After a couple of more emails to make arrangements James and another gentleman were here on July 28 and spent the entire day. They did an amazing job! A complete opposite of our first experience. This time we were expecting just another spray but they did the job exactly as the website describes, maybe even better, the moss was completely removed, the gutters were vacuumed, the roof was cleaned and sprayed, they even cleaned all the debris from the driveway and I’m sorry if I missed anything else they might have done.The job really was excellent and exactly what you would expect from professionals. This has now turned into a great experience and I would have no problem at all highly recommending James and team. Thank you guys, this was very appreciated!!!! Original review: We had Troy from Gorilla Property Services in Vernon quote our strata for moss removal expecting the job to be done as illustrated on their website, moss removed with before and after photos. After the job was done we were surprised to see that the moss was in fact not removed but instead Troy said that they don’t do that anymore and that they only spray for moss because that’s the best thing to do. The moss was supposed to dry up and fall off on its own and not to worry there is a one year warranty anyway. Well almost a year later and I had to try four times, two emails, left a phone message, and left a message on the Gorilla website before James Vogan replied in an email that literally only said “Troy no longer owns the business” when I replied asking if that means Gorilla won’t honor their warranty he answered with “Unfortunately I cannot help you out with this as I was not the person responsible for applying the product. You would have to reach out to Troy regarding this matter.“ so that was super helpful ( NOT). Very disappointed with Gorilla and all the promises of great customer service, now we are out $1400.00 still have moss on our roof. Thanks for nothing Gorilla that’s just f….n fantastic!"
