We are very happy to welcome Denis and Raquel to our Gorilla family. These brand-new owners will take care of residential and commercial properties at Gorilla’s newest territory in Muskoka Ontario.
Q: What made you want to own a franchise, specifically a Gorilla business?
It has been something that we have been considering for years, with the work experience accumulated & drive to succeed, it was time and after speaking with Norm in Timmins of his experience and enjoyment of the work is what convinced us that gorilla was the Franchise for us.
Q: Why now – what influenced you to make this decision?
My employment was great and I worked with great staff however the dream of us working for ourselves and in the Muskoka’s was too much to resist.
Q: In your opinion, what are the benefits of joining a franchise system?
Owning and operating a franchise helps us navigate bureaucracy and offers advice about how to handle certain situations that come up that other franchisee’s may have faced before us. Franchising will allow us to do something we enjoy and are good at while running our very own business. It allows us the opportunity to work for ourselves and enjoy the benefits, instead of working on the things we do well for an employer.
Q: Tell us about your territory, what do you think makes it unique?
During the warmer months, it’s one of the best places to spend the summer in Canada. The towns and the surrounding areas are both full with adventures and offers a relaxing oasis for vacationers, a great place to enjoy swimming, boating, golf, hiking and resort-style living. As for living and working in the Muskoka’s it allows us to enjoy the same benefits as the tourists every day and the great winter activities.
Q: What do you expect about being a business/franchise owner?
We expect to enjoy the hard work and benefit from it, employ staff and offer them a great, fun and safe employment while having support and guidance from the franchisor and the other amazing franchisees. The team support has been fantastic and greatly appreciated. We would like to thank all franchisees that have reached out!
