Penticton is one of the few destinations in British Columbia that sees less rain throughout its four seasons.  The summers are long and hot, the winters are short and mild.  However Penticton can be windy; particularly in fall, winter and early spring.  Wind speeds average between 9 and 16km per hour but can be much stronger; which is great if you want to hit up Skaha Lake for a bit of wind or kite-surfing.  It’s not so great when it comes to keeping your home or business looking clean and well maintained.  Gorilla Property Services Penticton Pressure Washing can make dealing with winter grime stress-free.

Why our Penticton Pressure Washing is above all others

Before giving access to our top-of-the-range equipment and your home or business, each of our Gorilla Technicians must complete a detailed training process.  We specialize in making old look new again and understand that this requires every square inch of your property to be serviced.  Using our disinfectant/cleaning agent followed by the soft brush scrubbing, you’ll be amazed at what can be achieved and how proud you can be of where you live and/or work.  There are also many other reasons to consider Penticton Pressure Washing.  Perhaps you are thinking of painting.  In which case, pressure washing is the ideal way to prepare exterior surfaces.  It is also the best and least expensive way to preserve that new paint job.

Allowing filth and dirt to go unchecked over long periods of time looks unsightly; but that’s not all.  The build-up of green algae and moss increases the risk of slip and fall incidents.  In addition, it can cause permanent staining and damage to the building’s façade and outdoor surfaces.  So no matter the material (vinyl, stucco, wood etc.) or the surface (patios, parkades, pool decks, playgrounds etc.); our fully trained and certified Gorillas will have it sparkling clean anytime, anywhere.

    Common questions

    Pressure Washing — answered

Why use a detergent at all? Isn't water enough?

Biological growth like mildew, algae, and moss needs to be killed, not just rinsed. Without detergent, you knock off the top layer and leave the spores in place, so it re-blooms fast. Chemistry is what makes the clean actually last between visits.

Do you offer free re-cleans if I notice missed spots?

Yes, workmanship issues are returned to at no charge. If a spot was genuinely missed and you flag it within a reasonable timeframe, our crews come back and put it right. This covers our quality of work, distinct from new staining that builds up later.

Will pressure washing affect my screen porches or sunrooms?

Screen porches and sunrooms get careful, lower-pressure treatment. Screen mesh tears under direct high pressure, and sunroom glass and seals need a gentler approach, so our crews adjust technique and distance to clean these areas thoroughly without stretching the screens or stressing the glass.

Can pressure washing be done in fog or low visibility?

Low visibility is a safety question, not a cleaning one. Fog does not interfere with how well surfaces wash, so ground-level work like driveways and patios proceeds normally. The only adjustment comes with elevated work on ladders, where crews slow down until visibility improves.

How many crew members come to a job?

Typical residential pressure washing jobs run with a two-person crew. Larger commercial sites such as parking lots or multi-unit properties get three to four. Smaller commercial work may need only one or two, depending on the square footage and access involved.

Will the crew be in uniform?

Yes, our crews arrive in branded uniforms and marked company vehicles, so you can identify who is on your property at a glance. Photo identification is available on request as well, which is worth knowing if you want to confirm the crew before letting them start work.

Will the cleaning hurt my vegetable garden?

Properly handled, pressure washing causes no harm to a vegetable garden. Our crews pre-rinse beds generously, work upwind when possible, and post-rinse any runoff zones. Small beds next to the work area can be tarped for extra caution. Just flag the location at booking.

Can pressure washing remove rust stains?

Straight pressure washing does not remove rust. Rust stains need specialty chemistry to break the bond, then a rinse. Treatment plus pressure handles most cases, while severe rust may need a professional acid treatment under controlled conditions to lift it fully.

How long after pressure washing can I seal concrete?

Wait 48 to 72 hours for the concrete to dry fully before sealing. Sealing while it’s still damp traps moisture and causes a white, cloudy appearance and outright sealer failure. Hot, dry weather can shorten the wait, while humid conditions extend it past three days.
