    Can windows be cleaned in the rain?

    Light rain doesn’t affect technique, since windows still rinse and dry cleanly, and the light precipitation actually helps the post-rinse phase. Heavy rain is when work pauses, both for crew safety and because runoff can interfere with the final result.

    Can you clean low-emissivity (low-e) glass?

    Yes, low-e glass cleans with standard technique. The low-emissivity coating sits on an inner surface, sealed inside the insulated unit, so it is fully protected from squeegees, cloths, and cleaning solution. The exterior pane you actually clean is ordinary glass and needs no special handling.

    Do you clean French panes?

    Plenty of Steinbach homes feature French-pane windows with their classic divided-light grids. We clean each small pane individually, washing and drying the glass and wiping the muntin bars, so every section comes out clear instead of just the centre.

    Do you serve hotels and lodging?

    Can I add UV protection coating?

    Yes, and the payoff is protecting what’s inside. UV films block the rays that fade hardwood, fabric, and art over years of sun exposure. Once applied, they hold up to regular cleaning, so washing the glass won’t compromise the coating’s protection.

    What if I have one window with hard water stains and others without?

    That’s common, since usually only one or two windows take the sprinkler hit. We clean every window with our regular service, then apply specialty mineral-stain treatment only to the affected panes. You pay for the extra work where it’s actually needed, not across the whole house.

    How many crew members come to a residential job?

    Will window cleaning remove my window tint?

    No, properly applied window tint is not removed by cleaning. Quality tint is either bonded to the interior surface or sealed between glass layers, well away from normal squeegee and cloth work. Only tint that was poorly installed or has aged and started lifting may show problems.

    Can you clean hot tub or spa enclosures?

    Yes, though the humid environment is the thing to watch. Hot tub and spa enclosures sit in constant moisture, so older glass often develops mildew or mineral haze that needs a dedicated treatment beyond a routine wash. Newer enclosures usually clean with standard technique.
