Q: What made you want to own a franchise, specifically a gorilla franchise?
I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, and owning a franchise seemed like the perfect way to combine my passion for business with the security of an established brand. What really appealed to me was the opportunity to create a successful business while also having more time for my family. Building a brand and business from the ground up requires an immense amount of time and effort, and I wanted to find a way to achieve my professional goals without sacrificing family time. Owning a franchise allows me to tap into a proven system with strong support, which helps streamline operations and reduce some of the day-to-day challenges of starting a business from scratch. This gives me the flexibility to be more present for my children and loved ones while still pursuing my entrepreneurial ambitions. It’s the perfect balance of independence and stability, and I’m excited to grow my business while maintaining a healthy work-life harmony.
When I came across Gorilla property Services, I was quickly drawn to it and intrigued by the logo, brand, website, business structure and services. But what really resonated with me after speaking with some of the Gorilla team, is that they are one Big Family and support system.
Q: Why now? What influenced you to make this decision?
Why not now? I’ve always had the desire to become a business owner. Life comes at you fast and you must seize every opportunity that arises and jump on it, moving full speed ahead. In my opinion, I think that’s what makes an entrepreneur. Taking calculated risks to reach your goals and achieve great things. If you wait for the right time, you’ll be waiting forever.
Q: In your opinion, what are the benefits of joining a franchise system?
Joining a franchise has many benefits. It offers a proven business model with an established brand, support, and a higher likelihood of success compared to starting an independent business. You have status and recognition, with a brand that stands behind you. Its empowering.
Q: Tell us about your territory, what do you think makes it unique?
Brantford, Ontario
With a relatively small population compared to major urban centers, Brantford offers a tight-knit community feel. The city is known for its friendly, welcoming residents and a laid-back lifestyle. It strikes a balance between offering the amenities and opportunities of a city while maintaining a more relaxed, small-town vibe.

Q: What do you expect about being a business/franchise owner?
I look forward to the journey ahead as the business/franchise owner of Gorilla Property Services Brantford/Caledonia/Paris Ontario. I expect that it will come with many challenges, but with hard work, dedication, and exceptional customer service, there is no reason why we couldn’t be a homeowner, or property managers #1 choice for services in the territory. Potential for growth is endless, and I’m so excited!
