We are thrilled to introduce Glenn and Caleb as the newest addition to our Gorilla family. As the fresh faces of team, they will be dedicated  to take care of residential and commercial properties at Gorilla’s territory in Cornwall & Brockville, Ontario.

Q: Who owns the business and any interesting backgrounds?

Before opening, we looked at creating a brand-new brand and building the clientele up; however, we ultimately decided that we can provide the small family run business model while being backed by the support of a national franchise. The Gorilla Property Services franchisor does an amazing job of training and ensuring the quality of work is high but they also provide the freedom for us to make the business our own and develop relationships with the community as family run business.  There are 50+ Gorilla Property Services franchises across the country and my son and I recently opened the local franchise. For just over a year there was a couple working the area on a part time basis; however, we are full time at it. Some of the bigger cities such as Ottawa have multiple franchises but my son and I will bring the same big city service offerings to the local area with the other franchises able to help on bigger jobs.

Q: How many staff will you have?

Currently my son and I are manning the Gorilla Mobile on our own; however, the growth potential is great and we expect our next truck to be not that far away. Other franchises in similar sized communities have 10+ trucks on the road. Those communities have grown to trust the Gorilla Property Services to keep their properties looking amazing.

Q: When did the business open?

We officially started operating the franchise on June 15, 2024

Q: Why open this business now?

This opportunity checked off a lot of boxes for me personally. It keeps me hopping and active, gives me time to spend with my son and at the same time we get to help others. It is a win-win-win opportunity.

Q: Any Special Events Planned?

You may see the Gorilla Property Services appear at some local events or in your neighbourhood but we do want to let the community know that we aim to help the Agape Center. We are happy to make pickups for the Agape Center from any community member that wants to show support… Simply send us a message saying that you have a donation and we’ll arrange to get it picked up.
