We are thrilled to introduce Denny Black as the newest addition to our Gorilla family. As the fresh faces of team, he will be dedicated to take care of residential and commercial properties at Gorilla’s territory in Winnipeg, MB.

Q: What made you want to own a franchise, specifically a Gorilla business?

A: As an entrepreneur, I was looking for a new direction in my career that could allow me to build something meaningful and in-demand. While working as a property manager, I noticed how valuable Gorilla’s services were and how consistently they were needed in the industry. The demand for quality property maintenance and cleaning services made Gorilla Property Services stand out as a strong business choice. I knew that joining a company with such a great reputation and established systems could help me make a real impact while building a thriving business.

Q: Why now – what influenced you to make this decision?

A: The timing felt perfect. I was at a point in my life where I wanted greater flexibility to manage my own schedule and carve out time for other priorities. I was ready to take on a new challenge and felt confident that joining Gorilla would allow me to do that in a structured and supportive environment.

Q: In your opinion, what are the benefits of joining a franchise system?

A: Joining a franchise like Gorilla Property Services brings so many advantages, particularly for someone new to business ownership. One major benefit is the brand recognition and trust that Gorilla, as a Canadian company, already has across the country. When I was researching, I spoke to several other Franchise Partners who were enthusiastic and open about their experiences. Their insights helped me see the strength of the support network within Gorilla, and I could see that I’d be joining a team that genuinely works together and supports each other.

Q: Tell us about your territory, what do you think makes it unique?

A: My territory has a climate that really varies, with hot summers and very cold winters. This range in temperature means that property maintenance needs are constantly changing throughout the year. From snow removal to summer upkeep, there’s always a need for Gorilla’s services in my area, which makes it both challenging and rewarding.

Q: What do you expect about being a business/franchise owner?

A: I expect that owning a business will require a lot of dedication and hard work, especially in the beginning. I’m prepared to put in the time and effort necessary to establish a solid foundation. Success won’t come overnight, but I’m ready for the challenge and committed to making my business grow.

Welcome aboard, Denny!
